On average, Australians purchase 27kg of textiles (from clothing to homewares) each year and throw 23kg into landfill. This staggering statistic, along with the knowledge of the damaging materials commonly used within the dance industry, created our strong mission – to slow this down! We achieve this by:

• Offering the majority of our dancewear to order (the opposite if fast fashion). 

• Making timeless, quality pieces that last – the opposite of making seasonal collections and numerous drops per year

• Encouraging our dancers to value the things they own and only buy things they know they will love and keep forever

 

We are here to bring the dance industry into the sustainable and environmentally friendly fashion movement. It’s time for us all to dance like the world is watching and dance a little lighter!
